Paul Scholes in an extraordinary way back out of retirement and re-joined Manchester United.
Scholes announced his retirement from football at the end of the season yesterday to try to get a position as coach at Old Trafford.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, has always felt able to extend the player's career and now he is back to help that hit United's injury problems.
Scholes direct entry into the United team bench against Manchester City and directly playable in the second half.
Fergie praised the return of Scholes and feels the midfielder still had a lot to offer.
"It's fantastic to see Paul make this decision. Always sad to see a great player end his career, but more so if they do it too early, "said Fergie in Skt Sports.
"But he always keeps himself in good shape and I always felt he still had at least one more season in him. Fabulous can have it back. "
